All community organizations who are using the South House’s space must complete a key agreement form to be put on the list of people who can access the key. Unfortunately, due to Dalhousie policy, only Dalhousie students can be key holders. If there are no Dal students in your group please let the coordinators know and we will try to find a volunteer to keep the space open during your meeting.
The South House aims to provide resources and referrals to the University and broader Halifax community, as well as a safe space for people to organize. It also offers free meeting space to anti-oppression groups at the discretion of the Board. Groups using the space must agree to the following space use agreement guidelines.
All volunteers, staff and board members at the South House must complete a confidentiality agreement form and submit it to the Administrative and Volunteer Coordinator. Please feel free to ask any questions about the form before signing.
